It took winning position with chervil pickled blackberries, a sourdough cracker and a plum and blackberry sauce.

Competitors were required to produce two plated portions of a cheese based starter, highlighting the superior qualities of the Soignon Mould Ripened or Fresh Goat Log provided by Eurilait.

The award was presented by Tim Sparkes, Senior Account Manager of the Foodservice and Industrial Sales Team who said; “To see such wonderful creativity using the Soignon Goat Log is inspiring, and demonstrates the great versatility of our product. Well done to Cory whose winning dish fulfilled the competition criteria so brilliantly.”

Winner, Cory, commented; “The texture of Eurilait’s goat cheese is far better than other goat cheeses I have previously used. The taste and aroma are fantastic and give a whole different element to my dish.”
