Eurilait employees can now count themselves as fully accredited members of the Craft Guild of Cheese Graders following attendance of a two day course to learn the fundamental skills and knowledge required to judge cheese quality. The training incorporated a wide range of cheese from traditional Lancashire to raw milk continental varieties.
Launched in March 2015, the Guild of Cheese Graders was created by Bruce Macdonald, a cheese grader with over 30 years’ experience. He is also the U.K. Ambassador and Compagnon d’Honneur at the prestigious la Guilde Internationale des Fromagers Confrérie de Saint-Uguzon and former Chairman of the International Cheese Awards.
The membership is part of the continued commitment Eurilait has to building on their expertise and leading position in the cheese industry.
