Alfresco Barbecue Plain Cheese Steaks take first place at The Caterer Product Excellence Awards

We are delighted to have won the Dairy Category at this year’s Caterer Product Excellence Awards, held at The London Stadium on 6th December.
Created to celebrate innovation, excellence and originality within the foodservice and hospitality sector, we are proud to have won this award with our Alfresco Barbecue Plain Cheese Steaks.
The cheese steaks were loved by the judges as an innovative new product that make the perfect vegetarian alternative to a beef burger and were particularly noted for being gluten-free, free from artificial flavours and preservatives, and made from all natural ingredients. The judges were also impressed with the flavour and texture, describing them as, “a delicious, simple idea” and “a cheese steak that tastes like a cheese toastie without the bread”.
